FAQ's

Can I still moderate a center cohort if I haven’t taken the course myself?

No. We require all center moderators to take the course first before they are able to moderate a center cohort. Once you graduate from the course, you’ll be eligible to start a center cohort. This ensures that each moderator fully understands what their staff and volunteers are learning throughout the course and enables the moderator to better help with learner questions.

Can one of my staff moderate a center cohort with me?

Yes, but only after they have also taken the course that they wish to moderate. They can take the course through an existing center cohort or they can join Care Net’s community cohort as a learner. Once they graduate from the course, we can add them to your center cohort as a moderator.

How long will my cohort remain open for my learners?

All center cohorts expire after one calendar year. Once access closes, both moderators and learners will no longer be able to view course materials. Please remind learners to download and save any important handouts throughout the course.
