FAQ's

Can I still moderate a center cohort if I haven’t taken the course myself?

No. We require all center moderators to take the course first before they are able to moderate a center cohort. Once you graduate from the course, you’ll be eligible to start a center cohort. This ensures that each moderator fully understands what their staff and volunteers are learning throughout the course and enables the moderator to better help with learner questions.

Can one of my staff moderate a center cohort with me?

Yes, but only after they have also taken the course that they wish to moderate. They can take the course through an existing center cohort or they can join Care Net’s community cohort as a learner. Once they graduate from the course, we can add them to your center cohort as a moderator.

How long will my cohort remain open for my learners?

All center cohorts expire after one calendar year. Once access closes, both moderators and learners will no longer be able to view course materials. Please remind learners to download and save any important handouts throughout the course.

Learners must reach 100% completion before cohort access expires in order to graduate. If a learner does not graduate before the cohort closes, their seat cannot be transferred to a future cohort - the seat will need to be repurchased so they can complete the course in a new center cohort.

What if my cohort expires and I haven’t used all of my purchased seats?

Any unused seats will expire with your cohort. Please only purchase the amount of seats that you currently need - you can always purchase seats as you need them and those will be added to your most recent active cohort.

How do I gain access to my center cohort after I purchase?

This is not an automatic process. After you purchase your center cohort, our team at Care Net University will set up your center cohort for you and will notify you via email with instructions on how to access your center cohort and how to invite your learners to the cohort. This can take up to 1 business day.
