This is a self-paced course that guides learners through approximately 5 hours of interactive lessons. In Trauma Competent Coaching, your client services team will be equipped to

  • develop a working knowledge of how trauma can impact a person's coping and decision-making skills

  • recognize key categories of trauma that are experienced by many pregnancy center clients

  • identify and prepare to employ trauma-competent pregnancy decision coaching skills that strengthen clients' resilience

  • prepare to use a collaborative-partnership approach to discuss abortion and life-affirming alternatives with clients in ways appropriate to the pregnancy decision coach's role
